Arizona Athletic Grounds Secures PepsiCo as Exclusive Beverage Partner

The 275-acre Arizona Athletic Grounds complex in Mesa has signed a seven-year deal with PepsiCo, naming the beverage giant its official soft drink partner. The multimillion-dollar investment, running through 2033, aims to subsidize facility costs while providing a massive product lineup to the nearly 3 million annual visitors.

Under the terms of the agreement, PepsiCo will supply its full portfolio—including Gatorade, Pepsi, Starry, and Celsius—across the campus’s 150 fields, indoor courts, and dining venues. CEO Mike Burke stated the capital injection is designed to keep pricing competitive for families and athletes at the massive Mesa facility. The partnership includes extensive digital and signage inventory, as well as activation rights for marquee events, such as those hosted for the PPA Tour and MLS NEXT.

The deal arrives as the venue experiences a surge in traffic, with attendance up 6% over 2025 figures. Having served as a base camp for the Türkiye Men's National Soccer Team during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the campus remains a focal point for high-profile youth and professional sports. Shay Hobby, Senior Vice President for PepsiCo Beverages U.S., noted that the collaboration leverages the company's distribution strength to support the site's ongoing expansion as a premier destination for amateur and professional competition.
