The Freo 20, priced at $1,099.99, utilizes NarMind Pro AI for object recognition, while the $799.99 Freo 20 Edge offers a more streamlined, slim-profile alternative for smaller living spaces.
Narwal Expands Robot Cleaning Lineup at IFA 2026
At IFA 2026 in Berlin, robotics firm Narwal unveiled an expanded portfolio of cleaning solutions, headlined by the integration of its flagship FlowWash mopping technology into the more accessible Freo 20 and Freo 20 Edge models, alongside a new foray into compact, handheld vacuum systems.
Beyond robotics, Narwal is diversifying its hardware offerings. The V50 Cube, a 1.4 kg handheld vacuum, targets daily maintenance with an ultra-compact auto-empty dock and 210AW suction power. Looking further ahead, the manufacturer provided a preview of its upcoming wet and dry vacuum series. Scheduled for a 2027 European release, these future models promise advanced features including 400°C steam cleaning and AI-driven DirtSense technology. The current rollout begins in European markets this month, with the U.S. release dates for the Freo series staggered throughout August and September.
