EMRG Media Opens Applications for 2026 Event Industry Power 50
With over 2,000 votes cast during its inaugural year, the Event Industry Power 50 is returning to highlight the leaders defining the global events landscape. EMRG Media has officially opened the application portal for the 2026 cohort, seeking to honor innovators across planning, production, hospitality, and corporate marketing.
Selection and Recognition
The selection process balances community engagement with professional assessment, as public voting accounts for 50% of the criteria, while an editorial panel determines the remaining half. Candidates have until September 18, 2026, to submit their applications. Following the announcement of the honorees on October 7, the selected leaders will be formally recognized on stage during The Event Planner Expo in New York City, scheduled for October 27–29. These individuals will also receive VIP credentials for the three-day event, which traditionally hosts thousands of industry professionals, corporate decision-makers, and prominent keynote speakers.
