The new portfolio includes the TCL TAB A1, TAB A1 NXTPAPER, TAB A1 Plus, and TAB A1 Plus NXTPAPER. Stefan Streit, Chief Marketing Officer at TCL Europe, noted that the strategy focuses on simplifying consumer choice by matching hardware to usage habits, whether for streaming, academic study, or professional document workflows.
The 11-inch models feature 2.1K resolution and 90Hz refresh rates within a 6.2mm chassis, emphasizing mobility. In contrast, the 12.2-inch Plus variants offer 2.4K resolution, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and 120Hz refresh rates, providing a wider canvas for split-screen multitasking. Across both sizes, the NXTPAPER technology serves as the primary differentiator, incorporating hardware-level blue-light filtering, anti-glare, and anti-reflection treatments to reduce eye strain during extended reading or research sessions.
