Flex to Acquire EPC Power for $4.4 Billion to Bolster AI Infrastructure
Flex has entered a definitive agreement to acquire California-based EPC Power for $4.4 billion, a move designed to secure critical power conversion technology for high-density AI data centers. The deal, expected to close in late 2026, will integrate EPC’s 800V architecture expertise into Flex’s Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment.

Following the acquisition, Flex intends to separate its Cloud and Power Infrastructure unit into an independent, publicly traded company in the first quarter of 2027. EPC Power is projected to generate $800 million in revenue during 2026, with an expected 40% organic growth rate in 2027. The deal remains subject to regulatory approvals and will be funded through a combination of debt and equity.
