The data highlights an aggressive global expansion of computing infrastructure as manufacturers scramble to meet the relentless demand for artificial intelligence hardware.
SEMI President and CEO Ajit Manocha noted that these figures underscore the critical role of equipment manufacturers in enabling the current wave of AI-driven innovation. The report, compiled alongside the Semiconductor Equipment Association of Japan, tracks monthly billings across seven regions and more than 22 market segments, confirming that the current investment climate remains focused on high-capacity chip production.
