The site currently specializes in high-precision tubular assemblies for engines including the Pratt & Whitney GTF, the PW800 business jet engine, and the F135 engine used in the F-35 Lightning II. General manager Dariusz Stopa noted that the facility remains a cornerstone of the company's global production network. Pratt & Whitney expands Niepołomice plant with $25 million investment
Pratt & Whitney is injecting $25 million into its Niepołomice, Poland facility to scale production of complex engine components. This expansion, expected to be fully operational by 2028, will create over 120 new jobs to satisfy rising global demand for commercial and military propulsion systems.
Supported by the Polish Investment Zone Programme, the project underscores Poland's status as RTX's largest footprint outside the United States. With more than 9,500 employees already working across Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, and Raytheon divisions in the country, the company continues to consolidate its advanced manufacturing infrastructure. The Niepołomice expansion will focus on increasing capacity for critical engine parts, ensuring the site remains equipped to handle the rigorous technical requirements of modern aerospace engineering.
