The acquisition integrates Win Systems’ established slot and Gold Club electronic-roulette portfolio into Primero’s existing Hurricane and Spark technology ecosystems. By absorbing these operations, Primero shifts from its domestic U.S. focus toward a broader international strategy, aiming to leverage the acquired infrastructure to deploy its own proprietary game content and platform technology to a wider client base.
Primero Games Absorbs Win Systems Division to Capture Latin American Market
With an installed base of more than 3,000 gaming positions now under its banner, Norcross-based Primero Games has acquired the Gaming Division of Win Systems. This strategic takeover grants the U.S. developer immediate manufacturing capabilities and a solidified footprint across Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Puerto Rico, and Panama.

Mike Macke, Chairman of Primero Games, characterized the move as a critical push to diversify the company’s global reach. Leadership from the Win Systems Gaming Division, including CEO Eric Benchimol and Executive Chairman Dario Zutel, will join the Primero team. Both parties emphasized that the transition aims to accelerate product development cycles, promising existing customers in Latin America and the Caribbean continuity while rolling out new development resources. While the financial specifics of the deal remain undisclosed, the integration of teams across the U.S., U.K., and Canada positions the expanded entity to scale its omnichannel gaming solutions more aggressively in regulated emerging markets.
