Pudu Robotics Brings Embodied AI to European Stage at IFA 2026

The PUDU D7, which recently earned an IFA Innovation Award, serves as the centerpiece of the company's Berlin exhibition. During live demonstrations, the semi-humanoid unit interacts with attendees by taking photos, responding to hand gestures, and manipulating objects, signaling a push toward more intuitive embodied AI. Alongside the D7, the company is presenting the PUDU D5 series, a quadruped platform capable of navigating uneven ground like gravel, sand, and stairs. This model aims to expand autonomous operations into rugged industrial sectors such as mining and tunnel maintenance, where traditional wheeled robots often struggle.

Scaling Commercial Robotics

Beyond experimental AI, the display emphasizes a portfolio already operating at scale. The company reports over 130,000 units shipped across 85 countries, a foundation that supports its current push into diverse commercial environments. The PUDU CC1 Pro, which handles multi-surface cleaning, leads this effort with more than 20,000 units deployed globally. Other specialized machines, such as the PUDU T600, demonstrate heavy-duty logistics capabilities with a 600-kilogram payload capacity. According to Shawn Wu, Vice President of the Embodied Intelligence Business, the goal is to shift the perception of robotics from static technology to practical, real-world tools. Pudu Robotics is hosting these demonstrations at Messe Berlin, Hall 25, through September 8.
