The complaint filed by law firm Bronstein, Gewirtz & Grossman alleges that York Space Systems (NYSE: YSS) failed to disclose that its onboard payload software was incomplete at the time of satellite launches. According to the court filing, these technical shortcomings created undisclosed risks for the company’s agreements with the Space Development Agency. The lawsuit asserts that the firm allegedly secured Pentagon contracts by cutting corners and providing misleading information about its operational readiness.
York Space Systems Faces Class Action Over Alleged Satellite Software Failures
Investors who purchased York Space Systems securities between January and May 2026 are being urged to join a class action lawsuit against the company. The litigation claims that the firm misled stakeholders regarding the functionality of its satellite mission software and the integrity of its Pentagon contracts.

Investors who acquired shares during the company’s January 29, 2026, IPO or throughout the subsequent class period ending May 11, 2026, are eligible to participate. Those seeking to be appointed as lead plaintiff must submit their requests to the court by October 30, 2026. The firm, led by founding partner Peretz Bronstein, is pursuing the case on a contingency fee basis, meaning costs are only recovered if the litigation is successful.
