Spanning approximately 63,000 square meters, the new additions aim to cement Yas Island’s status as a premier global leisure destination. The project will feature world-exclusive rides designed specifically for the Abu Dhabi park, moving beyond standard franchise adaptations to offer immersive, ground-up storytelling experiences. According to Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Miral, the initiative serves as a cornerstone for the emirate’s economic diversification and tourism growth.
Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi to Add Three Harry Potter Lands
Abu Dhabi is set to undergo a massive transformation as Miral and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences announce three new Harry Potter-themed lands at Warner Bros. World. Diagon Alley, Hogwarts, and the Forbidden Forest will anchor the park’s expansion, with construction slated for completion by 2029.

This development is part of a broader strategy to increase the park's footprint by more than 50 percent. Beyond the wizarding world, the expansion includes two previously announced DC-themed attractions: the Kryptonite Collider and Superman Up and Away. Simon Robinson, President of Global Experiences and Studio Operations at Warner Bros. Discovery, stated that the project reflects a long-term vision to set new industry benchmarks through high-fidelity, immersive entertainment environments. Once completed, the project will add roughly 70,000 square meters of new space to the existing indoor facility.
