Mancini Ranked Among Top 100 Workplaces for Innovators

Architecture firm Mancini secured the 69th spot on Fast Company’s 2026 list of the 100 Best Workplaces for Innovators, marking a significant milestone for the 110-year-old company. The recognition highlights an internal culture where designers and architects are empowered to build their own technical solutions rather than relying on external departments.

The firm’s approach centers on the Design Lab, an internal incubator that allows employees to develop enterprise-level platforms without needing formal software development backgrounds. This hands-on philosophy produced MIKA, an AI-driven knowledge assistant, and The Toolbelt, a suite of virtual and augmented reality technologies. These tools enable clients to experience spatial designs in real time, streamlining approvals and reducing design revisions.

Christian Giordano, President of Mancini, attributes this success to removing bureaucratic barriers and trusting staff to solve the challenges they face daily. By integrating technology directly into the design workflow, the firm ensures that innovation remains a practical outcome rather than a corporate abstract. This recognition follows a period of robust growth for the firm, which recently climbed to 25th place on Interior Design’s 2026 Hospitality Giants list, joining major industry players like Google and Morgan Stanley in the Fast Company rankings.
