Homewerks Acquires GTR Technologies to Expand Home Improvement Portfolio
Homewerks Worldwide, a portfolio company backed by the private equity firm H.I.G. Capital, has completed the acquisition of GTR Technologies. The deal integrates the Seattle-area specialist into an existing platform that manages a diverse range of plumbing, HVAC, and bath products for the residential home improvement market.

Tony Branham, founder of GTR, will continue to play a role in the organization as it integrates with the Lake Bluff, Illinois-based buyer. Peter Berkman, CEO of Homewerks, noted that the move is designed to leverage GTR's history of innovation and existing customer relationships to drive future growth. Jon Fox, Managing Director at H.I.G. Capital, stated that the transaction enhances the overall value proposition of the Homewerks platform by incorporating GTR’s specialized manufacturing and supply chain capabilities into its existing portfolio.
