Stefano McGhee Named Toastmasters International President

At the 2026 International Convention in Vancouver, Stefano S. McGhee of Weymouth, Massachusetts, officially assumed the presidency of Toastmasters International. The technology executive steps into the one-year term to guide the global nonprofit, which provides communication and leadership training to over 245,000 members across 150 countries.

Stefano McGhee Named Toastmasters International President

Before his election to the Board of Directors, McGhee served as the Senior Director of Technology Operations at Harvard Business Publishing. In that role, he managed cloud engineering and integration teams responsible for critical platforms, including Harvard Business Review. His background also includes a master’s degree in military operational arts and sciences, during which he received the International Security Studies Research Award for his contributions to national security research.

A member of the Network Voice Toastmasters club in Weymouth since 2005, McGhee has reached the Distinguished Toastmaster level, the highest educational designation within the organization. Beyond his professional career, he is an active pilot with the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and a leader at his local yacht club. As president, McGhee functions as a working ambassador, collaborating with the Board to refine policies that support the organization’s mission of building public speaking and leadership confidence through its international network.
