Spark Capital PWM Expands Wealth Advisory Team Amid Indian Market Boom
Spark Capital Private Wealth Management has recruited a team of eight senior bankers to bolster its advisory ranks, underscoring the fierce battle for talent in India’s rapidly expanding wealth sector. The new hires join a firm managing $5.47 billion in assets as it scales to meet the needs of ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Spark Capital Group, which celebrated its 25th anniversary, now integrates these hires into a wealth division that serves over 6,140 clients. The move arrives as India’s affluent population continues to swell; current industry data indicates the country’s high-net-worth individual count has reached nearly 390,000, holding approximately $1.65 trillion in assets. By securing this veteran talent, the firm positions itself to capture a larger share of a market currently growing at a 3 percent annual rate.
