The new hardware delivers up to 1,440kW and 1,500A of output, utilizing the company’s established DO360 and DZ480 power cabinet architectures. Designed to meet the evolving CharIN standard and IEC TS 63379 connector specifications, the system features a liquid-cooled cable reach of five to seven meters. Beyond raw power, the unit integrates with OCPP 1.6J and 2.0.1 protocols, ensuring compatibility with existing charge point operator backends across the EU and EEA.
Zerova debuts megawatt-class charging for European heavy-duty fleets
At the IAA Transportation 2026 in Hanover, Zerova is unveiling its new Megawatt Charging System (MCS) dispenser, a liquid-cooled unit engineered to power long-haul electric trucks and buses. The launch signals a critical expansion for the manufacturer as European operators scramble to build high-capacity infrastructure for commercial freight corridors.
Judy Hung, Business Operations Director at Zerova, noted that the platform is built to scale alongside the maturing MCS standard. The hardware includes a 10.4-inch touchscreen and supports multiple authentication methods, including RFID, QR codes, and Plug & Charge capabilities. By leveraging its existing footprint in UK and European bus operations, the company intends to capture the growing demand for rapid highway corridor charging. Attendees can view the unit at booth C20 in Hall 13 throughout the exhibition, which runs through September 20.
