This massive capital injection represents a significant scaling of the foundation's outreach, which has more than doubled its grant investment over the last three years. By leveraging the "Round Up" program—where diners contribute an average of 43 cents per order—the foundation successfully funneled over $51 million in total donations throughout 2025 to support these philanthropic efforts.
Executive Director Morgan Tabor emphasizes that the program's strength lies in its hyper-local focus. Taco Bell franchisees play a central role by nominating organizations they already know and support, ensuring the funds reach groups that are deeply embedded in their respective regions. Among the beneficiaries are national entities like Junior Achievement and College Advising Corps, alongside localized efforts such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fresno County, which recently received $100,000 to expand teen programming and career training across eight sites.
