The integration arrives as South Korean interest in U.S. markets continues to surge, following the resumption of daytime access in November 2025. With total overnight notional activity nearly doubling between November and March 2026, the demand for transparent, multi-venue data has become a priority for local brokers. The move is designed to mitigate the risks associated with single-venue dependencies, which have previously left traders vulnerable during unexpected halts.
Meritz Securities Links to Bruce ATS to Curb Blind Trading in Korea
Korean brokerage Meritz Securities has integrated the Bruce ATS market data feed, seeking to eliminate blind trading for local investors during the U.S. overnight session. By tapping into this liquidity source, the firm aims to provide clients with a clearer view of equity pricing from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. ET.

Jason Wallach, CEO of Bruce Markets, noted that the firm’s share of reported overnight volume nearly doubled in the second quarter, signaling a shift toward more competitive, multi-venue ecosystems. Recent data from the Bruce Q2 Overnight Market Review supports this, showing that trading across the three leading overnight ATSs reached $391.2 billion in notional value, a 59% increase over the first quarter. For Meritz Securities, the connection ensures that its traders can navigate volatile market conditions with more reliable access to real-time pricing.
