ALKU Expands into AI Consulting with New Division

Andover-based staffing firm ALKU is pivoting toward full-scale enterprise implementation with the launch of ALKU Intelligence. By integrating the recently acquired rockITdata practice, the company aims to bridge the gap between providing specialized consultants and delivering complete, outcome-driven artificial intelligence projects for corporate clients.

ALKU Expands into AI Consulting with New Division

The new division, led by Chief AI Officer Chris Ferrara, moves the firm beyond traditional staffing models. While ALKU’s established teams continue to provide on-demand expertise, the Intelligence unit deploys dedicated delivery groups tasked with full project ownership. Using proprietary accelerators, the firm targets an average time-to-value of under 90 days for complex deployments.

James Cassin-Reed, Vice President of Revenue Strategy and Partnerships, noted that clients are shifting from initial AI experimentation toward large-scale deployment. He emphasized that organizations require both strategic guidance and technical capacity to manage these transitions. By combining a project-based consulting structure with the firm's existing talent network, ALKU intends to manage more complex technical lifecycles than its traditional staffing model allowed.
