A veteran of the private capital landscape, Plasky arrives from Fried Frank to advise financial institutions and asset managers on complex, high-profile leveraged financing transactions.

Plasky specializes in sophisticated financial instruments, including subscription, NAV, and hybrid facilities, alongside rated note feeders and real estate fund financings. His move to Latham & Watkins is part of a broader push by the firm to expand its capital strategies platform amid increasing market demand for versatile, asset-based financing solutions.

Mandy Reeves, managing partner of the firm’s D.C. office, noted that the hire reflects a strategic investment in specialized legal talent. Dan Seale, global chair of the Banking & Private Credit Practice, emphasized that Plasky’s commercial approach aligns with the firm's focus on navigating complex capital needs. A graduate of Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School, Plasky joins a practice group that leadership describes as a premier force in the global fund finance sector.
