Leidos Secures $875 Million Navy Network Contract Extension
The Department of the Navy has awarded Leidos an $875 million contract extension to maintain critical communications infrastructure for 650,000 personnel. This second option year covers the management of 425,000 devices across 2,500 global sites, ensuring the integrity of the Navy Marine Corps Intranet and associated enterprise networks.
Steve Hull, president of Leidos Digital, noted that military and civilian personnel depend on these resilient networks for decision-making and mission execution. This latest funding aligns with the company’s NorthStar 2030 strategy, which prioritizes cyber capabilities and digital infrastructure. For retired Navy captain DJ LeGoff, who now leads the portfolio at Leidos, the objective remains providing seamless technical support so personnel can focus entirely on their operational duties.
