Chester Rose Financial Planning has appointed Samantha Wallace as head of the creative arts pension scheme. Wallace, a Chartered Fellow of the CISI, previously managed commercial growth at Defaqto and led strategic acquisitions for Fairstone. Founder Richard Dunbabin noted that her expertise is essential for managing the volatile income cycles typical of creative professionals. Based in Newbury, the firm currently oversees £400 million in assets for 650 clients.

In Bristol, The Aspire Partnership has brought back Tom Shorland to its financial planning team. Shorland, who originally trained at the firm before moving to Quilter Cheviot in 2022, will focus on wealth structuring in response to recent tax regulation shifts. Founding partner Ian Larthe de Langladure described the move as part of a long-term investment in talent and client service, following the firm's recent strategic partnership with 7IM.

Meanwhile, the Carne Group has named Keshava Shastry as its chief capital markets and distribution officer. Shastry, formerly of First Abu Dhabi Bank and Deutsche Bank, joins the executive committee to oversee the firm’s expansion into ETFs, private markets, and tokenized financial infrastructure. President John Parkhouse stated that Shastry’s background in global markets will help the group reduce friction in product delivery and accelerate time-to-market for its institutional clients.
