Van de Loo noted that her background in accounting and financial services, including a long tenure at Edelman Financial Engines, aligns with Choreo’s focus on tax-smart wealth planning.
Kelly O'Donnell Joins Choreo as Chief People and Transformation Officer
Kelly O'Donnell, a veteran with three decades of experience in financial services and consulting, has been appointed as Choreo's first Chief People and Transformation Officer. Based in Chicago, she will report directly to CEO Jason Van de Loo to manage human resources, brand communications, and enterprise-wide integration efforts.

Before this appointment, O'Donnell spent 21 years at Financial Engines, where she served as President of Workplace and held roles as Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Risk Officer. Her career began at Coopers & Lybrand, and she holds an accountancy degree from the University of Missouri. Choreo, which manages approximately $28.6 billion in assets, aims to leverage her experience to ensure that the firm’s ongoing development remains coherent and supports its core mission of providing coordinated tax and wealth advice.
