Kelly O'Donnell Joins Choreo as Chief People and Transformation Officer

O'Donnell’s arrival marks a strategic shift for the wealth management firm as it seeks to scale its operations. Her mandate includes overseeing the Integration Management Office, which handles the firm’s expansion following acquisitions, and driving change initiatives that align the company’s internal culture with its growth objectives. Van de Loo noted that her background in accounting and financial services, including a long tenure at Edelman Financial Engines, aligns with Choreo’s focus on tax-smart wealth planning.

Before this appointment, O'Donnell spent 21 years at Financial Engines, where she served as President of Workplace and held roles as Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Risk Officer. Her career began at Coopers & Lybrand, and she holds an accountancy degree from the University of Missouri. Choreo, which manages approximately $28.6 billion in assets, aims to leverage her experience to ensure that the firm’s ongoing development remains coherent and supports its core mission of providing coordinated tax and wealth advice.
