The transition to a cloud-based architecture allows converters to access the ERP via web browsers without retraining staff, as the interface remains identical to the on-premise version. Amtech handles all security, backups, and system updates, shifting the burden of cyber defense and server maintenance away from the manufacturer. A limited rollout for the Cloud Starter edition begins in November 2026, with broader availability scheduled for early 2027.
Amtech Overhauls Label Traxx with Cloud Migration and Material Tracking
Amtech Software is moving its flagship Label Traxx ERP to the cloud, aiming to eliminate local server maintenance for packaging converters. Announced at the LOUPE Americas event in Chicago, the update includes a new material traceability module and integrated visual analytics to streamline shop floor operations.

Alongside the platform shift, the company introduced Amtech Visual Analytics (AVA) and a Track & Trace module. AVA provides pre-configured dashboards for financial and operational performance, allowing users to drill down from high-level trends to specific root causes without requiring custom data modeling. The Track & Trace module manages material lineage from raw stock to shipped pallets, recording critical production data such as slitting lanes, press operators, and parent material history. This granular oversight is designed to replace manual record-keeping, enabling converters to execute precise recalls by identifying affected orders instantly.
