With over 25 years of experience navigating the complexities of financial enforcement, Jay Biondo has stepped into the newly created role of Head of Product & Regulatory Affairs at Eventus. Based in Chicago, he will oversee the strategic roadmap for the firm's Validus trade surveillance platform while serving as its primary regulatory voice.

At Eventus, Biondo faces a market landscape defined by tightening global regulations and shifting market structures. He is tasked with refining the Validus platform—a tool currently utilized by tier-1 banks, broker-dealers, and exchanges—to better address the evolving demands of high-volume, real-time trading environments. His appointment follows a career history that includes leadership roles at Neurensic and Allston Trading, as well as a Juris Doctor and an LLM in Financial Services from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
