Crash-tested portable security is moving into the U.S. rental market as Ontario Bollards appoints ZND US the exclusive distributor for its ättaGard anti-ram system. This partnership aims to replace traditional concrete blocks at festivals and construction sites with a rapid-deployment barrier that requires no excavation or permanent installation.
Gary Bryant, Chief Revenue Officer at Ontario Bollards, noted that the rental model is essential for scaling perimeter protection, allowing security teams to secure sites in hours rather than months. Seth Walters, President of ZND US, added that the product fills a void in the current rental market by offering an engineering-grade barrier at a price point suited for the rental channel. The companies have already begun showcasing the technology at industry events, including the APWA PWX conference in Houston, with further demonstrations planned for the IACP annual conference in Orlando this October.
