The announcement, made during a live ceremony in Paris on September 15, cements the 65-storey Victoria Harbour landmark as the definitive leader in the competitive landscape of international luxury hospitality.
Beyond the top ranking, the ceremony recognized diverse excellence across the industry. Capella Bangkok captured the second spot, while Atlantis The Royal in Dubai was named the best in the Middle East and the premier beach destination. Italy’s Passalacqua secured its status as the world’s best boutique property for the third consecutive year. The awards also honored industry figures, including James McBride of Nihi Hotels, who received the SevenRooms Icon Award for his three decades of leadership and his 'Edge of Wildness' development philosophy. The selection process, adjudicated by Deloitte, relies on an anonymous academy of over 800 travel experts, ensuring the list reflects genuine guest experiences rather than corporate influence.
