JND Legal Administration Hires Nathan Reff to Lead Applied Science
Nathan Reff, a mathematician with a decade of experience in academic research and machine learning, has joined JND Legal Administration as Director of Applied Science. Based in the firm’s Innovation and Strategy division, Reff will oversee the development of generative AI tools tailored for complex legal workflows and settlement administration.
At JND, Reff joins a team tasked with integrating AI across the company’s five main service lines. CEO Jennifer Keough noted that Reff’s appointment is part of a broader strategy to refine the firm's AI-enabled services, emphasizing that he will work directly with clients to translate technical outputs into practical legal solutions. Ben Sexton, Senior Vice President of Innovation and Strategy, highlighted Reff’s expertise in building robust, bias-assessed systems as a key asset for the firm’s continued growth in the legal technology sector.
