Lake Oswego-based Rapta has raised $8 million to expand its AI-driven manufacturing intelligence platform, targeting industries where precision is paramount. The funding round, co-led by Voyager Capital and Access Venture Partners, aims to dismantle the data silos that currently hinder production efficiency and quality control across major defense and aerospace supply chains.
As part of the expansion, Diane Fraiman of Voyager Capital and Kirk Holland of Access Venture Partners have joined the company’s board. The platform provides real-time quality verification and work instructions directly on the assembly floor, a necessity for firms like TRAK TECOM, which relies on the technology to maintain visibility and efficiency in mission-critical defense manufacturing. By automating the tracking of parts and operator actions, the company aims to solidify its role in strengthening American industrial capacity.
