The victory concludes a 10-week intensive program developed by Midwest Dairy in partnership with the advisory firm VentureFuel. Designed to support brands utilizing regional dairy as a primary ingredient, the accelerator provided participants with direct mentorship from industry experts, retailers, and food scientists. Programming focused on the practical hurdles of growth, spanning distribution strategy, marketing, and manufacturing logistics.

For Colehour, the capital injection serves a specific operational goal: expanding the reach of her whipped cottage cheese. The win highlights the ongoing collaboration between dairy farmers and emerging food entrepreneurs, a strategy Midwest Dairy CEO Corey Scott described as essential to maintaining the category's relevance. Fred Schonenberg, CEO of VentureFuel, noted that Disco Cow’s approach demonstrates the type of commercial execution required to drive impact within the competitive food sector.
