The expansion allows Sponsored Entities—including payment facilitators and ISOs—to access acquiring, issuing, and real-time payment services through a single banking relationship. By centralizing these functions, Quill Bank intends to eliminate the need for partners to manage multiple financial institutions or disparate technology providers. The platform aims to reduce operational friction, enabling firms to accelerate product innovation and generate new revenue streams.
Quill Bank Expands Into Merchant Acquiring Under Deborah Camm
Utah-based Quill Bank is moving into the merchant acquiring space, aiming to consolidate payment and financial services for fintechs and independent software vendors. The bank has appointed Deborah Camm, a payments veteran with over 25 years of experience, to spearhead this new business line as its Senior Vice President.
Chief Operating Officer Eric Wright noted that the move is a strategic step toward positioning the bank as a comprehensive partner for the payments ecosystem. Camm, who previously navigated the complexities of multi-bank integration, stated that the bank’s goal is to simplify the infrastructure required for partners to scale. Quill Bank, a Pleasant Grove-based institution with $1.6 billion in assets, has focused on financial technology distribution for over a decade, and this new division serves as a direct extension of its existing payment and lending capabilities.
