The brand’s latest lineup introduces Mike’s Hot Honey, salted caramel, and a seasonal cranberry orange variety. The hot honey flavor currently holds an exclusive window at Walmart before a broader retail rollout in January. Philadelphia Cream Cheese Targets Growth With Flavor Expansion
Philadelphia is moving beyond the bagel, launching three distinct cream cheese flavors as part of a aggressive $700 million investment strategy. With control over 62% of the U.S. market, Kraft Heinz aims to reshape consumer habits by pushing the spread into savory recipes and dips through heavy marketing.

Jerome Drolet, president of taste elevation at Kraft Heinz, confirmed that investment in new flavors has quadrupled. Overall brand spending is slated to climb 63% this year compared to 2025. This capital injection is a cornerstone of CEO Steve Cahillane’s $700 million portfolio-wide overhaul, which includes major brands like Oscar Mayer and Heinz. Beyond product development, the company intends to leverage TikTok creators and digital recipe platforms to reposition the product as a versatile ingredient for pasta sauces and dips rather than a simple breakfast staple.
