For the fifth time, the oneworld alliance has secured the title of World's Best Airline Alliance at the Skytrax World Airline Awards. The recognition, often described as the Oscars of aviation, was announced in London on September 18, validating the group's performance through extensive global passenger feedback.
Ole Orver, CEO of oneworld, attributed the win to the consistent service standards maintained by its 15 member airlines. From Alaska and American Airlines to Qatar Airways and Cathay Pacific, the group currently serves nearly 1,000 destinations. Orver highlighted that the alliance’s commitment to premium offerings, such as global First Class lounge access and unified loyalty benefits, remains a primary driver for customer satisfaction in an increasingly competitive aviation landscape.
