NAVER D2SF Backs ImpriMed in $10 Million Precision Medicine Push

Silicon Valley-based ImpriMed has secured $10 million in a Series A2 bridge round, drawing investment from NAVER D2SF. The startup uses multimodal AI and ex vivo cell analysis to tailor cancer treatments, leveraging a platform already tested through 27,000 veterinary cases to drive its upcoming human healthcare expansion.

The capital injection arrives as ImpriMed prepares for a significant milestone, targeting FDA clearance and CLIA certification by the first quarter of 2027. Their xCellSense platform maintains live cancer cells ex vivo to evaluate drug sensitivity, cross-referencing these findings with genomic and clinical data. The company is training its predictive models on a database of over 3.5 million points to refine treatment selection for blood cancers and infections.

While the firm is establishing partnerships with major U.S. hospital networks, it maintains a strong footprint in South Korea. Its software for multiple myeloma prognosis has already earned an Innovative Medical Device designation from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, supported by clinical collaborations with institutions like Seoul Asan Medical Center. Co-founded by CEO Sungwon Lim and CTO Jamin Koo, ImpriMed is now leveraging its veterinary success—which includes a documented threefold increase in survival time for canine lymphoma—to anchor its broader entry into the North American, European, and Asian human oncology markets.
