KanEquip JCB Expands Into Kansas City Market

Strategic growth brings specialized heavy machinery closer to the Kansas City industrial sector as KanEquip JCB opens a new facility at 3550 Fairbanks Avenue. The expansion targets rising regional demand for construction and agricultural equipment, positioning the dealership within the Santa Fe Industrial Area to provide localized sales, parts, and maintenance support.

The new site features the full breadth of the JCB catalog, including excavators, wheel loaders, and telehandlers. By establishing this footprint, the company aims to streamline service for both commercial contractors and agricultural operators who rely on consistent equipment uptime. This move marks a significant shift for the organization, which has evolved from its 1967 roots as Meinhardt Farm Equipment into a multi-site regional powerhouse.

Grant Meinhardt, vice president and general manager, noted that the Kansas City market is a logical progression for the business. This expansion reflects a deepening partnership with JCB, which recently named KanEquip one of its top three global Fastrac dealers in 2025. Following the 2019 transition to second-generation leadership under brothers Bryndon and Grant Meinhardt, the dealership continues to scale its operations across Kansas, leveraging this new facility to anchor its presence in one of the region’s most active commercial hubs.
