The system bypasses the need for manual reconciliation by orchestrating triage across email and web intake platforms, including Veeva Ostro. Once processed, the information is funneled directly into Veeva Safety, Veeva QMS, or Veeva MedInquiry. This automation aims to provide the speed and consistency required for complex regulatory environments where every second counts for patient safety.
Veeva Automates Safety Triage with New Falcon Router
Biopharma companies struggle to manage the mounting volume of safety reports and medical inquiries as they expand into new global markets. Veeva Systems is now targeting this bottleneck with the Falcon Router, an agentic solution designed to automatically categorize and route incoming data from digital channels to appropriate internal teams.

John Lawrie, vice president of Veeva Safety, noted that the complexity of routing grows alongside a company's product portfolio and geographic reach. By delegating these repetitive tasks to the Falcon Router, organizations can shift human expertise back toward critical clinical decisions. The tool is scheduled for early adopter release in January 2027 as the latest addition to the Falcon Agent Suite, Veeva's broader push into labor-saving AI solutions for the life sciences sector.
