Sanda Ojiambo, CEO of the UN Global Compact, noted that the initiative aims to make sustainable procurement the global norm by providing a pathway for companies to act on their ambitions. The Framework is designed to be adaptable across industries and company sizes, allowing organizations to tailor guidance to their specific market realities. By supporting 100,000 companies to integrate these practices by 2030, the Coalition seeks to turn fragmented sustainability efforts into a cohesive, global force for more resilient value chains.
