Rock Tech Lithium has signed agreements with Siemens Canada to integrate advanced German digital engineering into its Red Rock Converter project in Ontario. This move marks a shift toward virtual plant modeling, aiming to optimize energy flows and material output before construction of the lithium facility begins.
Beyond the digital infrastructure, Siemens is providing direct technical support to the project team for the ongoing Definitive Feasibility Study. This study, which launched in June 2026, is scheduled for completion by mid-December. The collaboration is framed as a strategic effort to bolster G7 mineral supply chains by blending Canadian resources with specialized industrial automation, potentially serving as a blueprint for future North American converter sites.
