The tournament welcomed competitors from Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, and the United Kingdom, featuring a mix of seasoned talent and international debutants. Athletes engaged in high-intensity rallies, using the platform to refine their skills and gain experience on the professional circuit. This sponsorship follows CHiQ’s participation in the Para Youth Development Day this past August, signaling a strategic shift toward backing elite-level youth sports.
CHiQ Backs Inaugural ITF Juniors Wheelchair Tournament in Cologne
At the Marienburger Sport-Club in Cologne, young wheelchair tennis players from across Europe gathered on September 19–20 for the inaugural ITF Juniors tournament. Supported by appliance brand CHiQ, the event functioned as both a competitive proving ground and a vital development milestone for international youth athletes.

Felix Feng, General Manager of CHiQ Europe, noted that the event serves to build connections and elevate the visibility of the sport. Niklas Höfken, tournament director and head coach of the German national team, emphasized that such backing is essential for fostering the next generation of talent. By bridging the gap between grassroots involvement and international competition, the company intends to maintain its focus on disability-inclusive sports across its European operations.
