Aranscia Integrates Genomic Testing into Northside Hospital Workflow

Historically, clinicians at Northside have navigated a disjointed landscape of varying reporting formats and testing processes. This complexity often hindered the speed at which genetic findings could be translated into patient-specific treatment plans. The new collaboration connects Northside with 12 specialized molecular laboratories, creating a unified digital pipeline that pulls genomic data directly into the physician’s existing clinical workflow.

Amy Boren, Director of Oncology Services at Northside, noted that the integration is designed to make precision medicine a standard component of daily practice rather than a cumbersome add-on. By automating the delivery of discrete genomic insights, the hospital expects to improve both the coordination of care and the ability to identify targeted therapy opportunities. Carla Balch, Executive Director at Aranscia, added that the project focuses on scalability, ensuring the system can handle the growing volume and density of molecular data as personalized oncology continues to evolve.
