Rehlko Doubles Backup Power Capacity at Changzhou Facility
Rehlko has doubled the annual backup power capacity of its manufacturing facility in Changzhou, China, lifting output from 5.5 GW to 11 GW. This strategic shift, achieved without expanding the plant's physical footprint, aims to address surging global demand for power from AI infrastructure, data centers, and the semiconductor industry.
Increased capacity stems from a series of internal upgrades rather than site expansion. Recent improvements include the deployment of smart production lines for smaller systems, an automated warehousing system, and the integration of manufacturing execution technology. These technical refinements have already yielded tangible results: shipment revenue has doubled since 2020, while first-pass production yields climbed from 93% to 98%. The investment in China complements Rehlko’s broader infrastructure efforts, which include recent facility upgrades in France and the United States alongside acquisitions in the United Kingdom.
