Julius Baer Appoints Pamela Tseng as Asia COO
After 23 years of tenure, Julius Baer’s Asia COO Andreas Zingg is stepping down, clearing the path for Standard Chartered veteran Pamela Tseng to take over the regional operations. Her appointment, effective October 16, marks a significant shift in leadership for the Swiss private bank’s expanding Asian division.
Jean Nabaa highlighted Tseng’s history of managing complex operations and strategic transformations as a primary driver for the hire. The transition follows a series of personnel moves at the firm, including the late July appointment of former Bank of Singapore manager Nira Tanoko as market head for Southeast Asia.
