Running from September 24–27 at the WTC CIEC, the expo serves as a cultural hub for K-pop, beauty, and culinary trends. Bibigo’s presence at the event features interactive tasting stations where attendees can sample sticky white rice paired with hot and sweet gochujang sauce. The brand is also distributing a range of global staples, including ramyun, seaweed snacks, and various K-sauces, to highlight the versatility of their product line.
Bibigo Expands Korean Food Footprint at K-EXPO Mexico
With the Korean Wave surging across Latin America, the bibigo brand is leveraging the 2026 K-EXPO in Mexico City to deepen its connection with local consumers. The food manufacturer is using the four-day event to showcase its global portfolio, positioning its convenience-focused products as an accessible entry point into Korean cuisine.

This push into the Mexican market follows a 2025 Statista survey revealing that over 66% of Mexican consumers familiar with Korean content recognize the popularity of K-pop and K-dramas. Gregory Yep, global CEO of CJ Foods, noted that the company aims to bridge the gap between cultural curiosity and daily consumption by making traditional flavors approachable. By emphasizing a wide range of options—from mandu and kimchi to snacks—the brand seeks to integrate into local culinary habits rather than just offering novelty items. This strategy mirrors the company’s ongoing 'Korea Everywhere' campaign in the United States, which promotes the brand as a convenient solution for those looking to incorporate Korean flavors into their existing home cooking.
