KT&G Scales Up Global Ambitions at InterTabac 2026

In the exhibition halls of Dortmund, KT&G quadrupled its footprint at InterTabac 2026 to signal a deepening reach into international markets. The South Korean manufacturer used the three-day trade fair to bridge its traditional combustible cigarette portfolio with a growing suite of next-generation products for a global audience.

The company’s booth served as a staging ground for its diverse product range, integrating established names like ESSE and BOHEM alongside modern vapor offerings and nicotine pouches. By organizing the expanded space into four themed zones, KT&G aimed to streamline interactions with partners from the 70 countries represented at the event. For the firm, the gathering acted as a primary venue for networking with international buyers and assessing regional market shifts.

KT&G continues to lean on the strength of its flagship brand, ESSE. The superslim cigarette line remains a cornerstone of the company’s export strategy, having crossed KRW 1 trillion in overseas sales last year with distribution spanning over 90 countries. Meanwhile, the cigar-leaf-infused BOHEM brand remains focused on maintaining its foothold across the Asia-Pacific and Latin American sectors. With products now reaching 140 countries, the company intends to leverage the connections made in Germany to further its competitive standing in the evolving tobacco landscape.
