PATEO Partners with Arm to Accelerate Physical AI in Vehicles
PATEO has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Arm to integrate physical AI into automotive platforms. The collaboration aims to move beyond traditional infotainment, focusing on perception-driven intelligence and real-time interaction, as the industry shifts toward vehicles that function as autonomous, adaptive agents in complex environments.
PATEO is betting heavily on this transition. The company reported RMB 209 million in revenue from AI-related business during the first half of 2026, a 588.6% increase compared to the previous year. By aligning its "AI-Defined Vehicles" philosophy with Arm’s ecosystem, the Tier 1 supplier intends to accelerate the shift from proof-of-concept projects to mass-market deployment. Liang Chen, Vice President of PATEO, emphasized that an open ecosystem is necessary to scale these technologies as they move from isolated features to holistic vehicle intelligence.
