The brand is introducing a new flavor and a variety pack to complement its existing Chocolate Chip and Cinnamon Crunch options. Each bar contains 17 grams of protein and excludes common irritants such as gluten, sugar alcohols, seed oils, and artificial flavors. These recipes were developed in collaboration with gastroenterologists and registered dietitians, with testing conducted through IBD clinics to ensure the bars remain gentle on sensitive digestive systems.
Siblings Launch Digestible Protein Bars to Support IBD Community
Sean and Natasha Dassoff are expanding their protein bar brand, dasso good, ahead of December’s Crohn's and Colitis Awareness Month. Born from Sean’s personal struggle to find nutritious snacks during flare-ups, the company focuses on high-protein, clean-label ingredients specifically formulated for individuals navigating chronic digestive health challenges.

Beyond product development, the siblings are focused on advocacy within the IBD community. The company maintains active partnerships with the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation and Athletes vs. Crohn's & Colitis through event sponsorship and volunteering. Earlier this year, the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation recognized Sean Dassoff for his contributions to the community and his efforts to bring visibility to the daily realities of living with Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
