The ViaPath Foundation is scaling its commitment to criminal justice reform by awarding grants to 22 organizations across 14 states. The funding aims to bolster community-based reentry programs, youth development initiatives, and specialized support for justice-involved veterans, targeting critical gaps in services for individuals navigating the justice system.
Board Chair Naseem Caplette noted that the selected programs address pivotal moments in the lives of those affected by incarceration. By investing in practical solutions—such as providing housing essentials for female veterans in Los Angeles or funding STEAM education for at-risk youth in Houston—the foundation seeks to create lasting community impact. The grants provide not only operational funding but also the infrastructure necessary for these nonprofits to maintain consistent mentoring, case management, and employment training pathways.
