The expansion adds 27,000 square feet to the existing facility at 401 W A St, introducing 305 office seats and 50 access seats. Beyond traditional office space, the partners are integrating advanced technology through MCWHK, a GANMI subsidiary, which intends to deploy AI tools like Project Token to assist tenants with productivity and collaborative workflows.

Eric Gan, founder of GANMI, views the project as a bridge for international business, particularly between San Diego and Japan. Following a recent trade mission involving city officials and business leaders, GANMI is positioning the building as a landing pad for Japanese firms entering the U.S. market. To foster this ecosystem, the site will host cultural programming, including a 'Japan Omatsuri' festival. The initiative aims to leverage the $550 billion investment commitment between the U.S. and Japan, creating a centralized hub for cross-border collaboration in high-growth sectors.
