The assay results, derived from core samples originally drilled between 2010 and 2012, highlight a peak concentration of 3,570 ppm Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO) and 607 ppm Magnet Rare Earth Oxides (MREO) over a 0.63-meter interval. Additional testing of historical core returned 1.53 meters at 2,267 ppm TREO and 0.50 meters at 2,532 ppm TREO, reinforcing the potential of the site as a critical minerals source.
Steven Gold, President and CEO of Jaguar Uranium, stated that the company intends to integrate these findings with ongoing trenching and geophysical surveys to refine the project's geological model. This strategy aligns with the recently established Barranquilla Accords, a framework designed to bolster cooperation between the United States and Colombia regarding secure supply chains for critical minerals and nuclear energy. While these exploration results provide a promising multi-commodity profile, the company noted that they do not yet constitute a formal mineral resource or reserve, and the economic viability of the site remains under evaluation.
