Stand8 Launches Model Gateway to Scale Enterprise AI

Los Angeles-based Stand8 has introduced a model gateway designed to route AI tasks to the most efficient language models, aiming to cut operational costs for businesses. The service, which functions within a client's own cloud environment, promises to transition projects from initial prototypes to compliant production in 90 days.

Stand8 Launches Model Gateway to Scale Enterprise AI

The Stand8 Model Gateway acts as a control layer between enterprise applications and AI models on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud. By evaluating each specific task, the gateway routes requests to the most appropriate architecture—whether that involves high-end closed models, open-source alternatives, or smaller, fine-tuned variants. This strategy ensures that companies avoid overpaying for processing power while maintaining the ability to swap models without rebuilding their underlying infrastructure.

Eric Gula, Vice President of Enterprise Solution Architecture at Stand8, emphasized that organizations should not be tethered to a single expensive model. Beyond routing, the system embeds caching, identity management, and audit controls to satisfy governance requirements. This technology is paired with a 90-day delivery sprint that handles everything from data validation to security integration, ensuring that the final output is measurable in terms of cost and performance. All solutions are backed by an ISO/IEC 27001:2022-certified framework and annual SOC 2 Type II examinations.
